Q: My husband adopted a stray cat, named Cash, when she was only four weeks old. She was picked up when she was only two to three days old. Cash is now seven months old and sterilised. Whenever we play with Cash, she would play very well initially, but after a while she will start to bite us violently. We had tried several methods to tell her that this is incorrect, but she does not seem to remember or understand. We have tried methods such as using a water gun, making noises such as "Ouch" or saying "No!" and pinching her neck like how mother cats do. When I play with her I don't use my hands or legs because I know that will make her think that it is acceptable to bite or scratch them. Nowadays, even when I'm not playing with her, she will jump at my legs and bite them. Please let me know how I can solve the biting problem.
