Start off by placing your bunny in a room without distractions; such as things that your rabbit might bite (wires and cords) and things that your rabbit might hide under (chairs and tables).

Sit in the room with your bunny. Allow your bunny to explore the room and you. When he warms up to his surroundings, his inquisitive nature will draw him to you. Allow him to sniff you. Get as close to your bunny's eye level as possible; he might be less afraid of something that does not tower over him. It will take several days of this for your bunny to be comfortable and familiar with you.

If you are in a room that is free of danger for your little one, you may even sit and read while your bunny busies himself about the place.
