Everyone knows the internet is only useful for looking at cat pics. This cat though, is special. He has only one eye, but has 4 ears and a super V-shaped face.

An Australian feline is taking Instagram and headlines by storm, after getting 'discovered' on his family's Instagram feed, @frank_n_kitten.

Frankie, short for Frankenkittens has an overbite, giving him an exceptionally angular and photogenic face. As if cats aren't already photogenic enough.

He also has only one eye, and get this - four ears.

The ears are a genetic deformity, as is the overbite, which required teeth to be removed as he grew up. The missing eye however, was due to an infection and ruptured eyeball, so his adopted mum had it removed after rescuing him from an abandoned building when he was just 10 weeks old.

In addition to all that, he also has malformed knees which means his rear legs do not fit in them properly -they slip in and out of the sockets all the time. Surgery to fix them is on the cards for Frankie, once his mummy saves up enough vitamin M.

This hasn't turned Frankie's zest for life down even a little bit, though. The little kitty is known to be a "snugglebug" and "loves people".

It looks as though he's got a permanent wink! What does he know that we don't?

In fact, with that knowing smile, he could be the Mona Lisa of kitties!

Frankie definitely hears things on the grapevine.

So, you know... just making a public service announcement for all those who are fans of Pokemon Go... There are real life Pocket Monsters out there... and they are cuter.

Not Frankie, but his brother Ezra... both his eyes were saved by his kind rescuers.  @frank_n_kitten

This weekend, instead of wandering around parks with Pokemon Go, visit local shelters and check out their kittens! You'll only need to catch just one!
