Everybody is flaunting a fitness band these days, so why not Fido? The WonderWoof BowTie is an activity tracker for dogs that allows pet owners to monitor their pooch's movements and exercise in real time. That it's designed like a spiffy bow tie and comes in a mint green Tiffany & Co.-inspired box is a bonus.

The BowTie conveniently attaches to your pooch's collar and tracks what he is doing (running, sleeping, playing or walking), calculates how much exercise your dog needs based on his breed, age and weight, and then sends real time updates to you via a smartphone application that runs on both Android and iOS. The app features an easy-to-use interface that is doggy-centric, meaning that the profile and news feed shows the dog's perspective rather than its human's.

Furthermore, the BowTie calibrates dry data on your furkid into a fun "bones" reward game that encourages you to help your pooch fulfil his daily activity
requirement. How it works: Each bone on WonderWoof is worth 10 percent of your dog’s recommended daily activity, so the goal is to earn all 10 "bones" daily. Also doubling as a socialising tool for Fido, the device allows you to locate other hounds (with the BowTie) in the vicinity and share maps and walking routes with their owners. Lightweight (at 20g) and waterproof, with an impressive battery life of seven days to boot, the BowTie's hardware is as impressive as its software. While Fido won't immediately act like a gentleman the moment he dons the WonderWoof BowTie, at least you know he'll look the part and get fit while at it.

Available in six hues, including Dogquamarine Blue, Candy Canine Pink, Hounds Grey and BoneTie Black.
The Wonderwoof Bow Tie retails for US$95.00 (S$133.20); and international shipping is complimentary. Find out more at www.wonderwoof.com.
